Tiger Moves

A strategic board game of tigers and goats

About the Game

Tiger Moves is the classic Bagh Chal (Tiger & Goats) board game from Globalburg Infotech. Four tigers face twenty goats on a 5×5 grid. Outthink your opponent: as goats, block every tiger move; as tigers, capture five goats by jumping over them.

With a clean interface and intuitive controls, Tiger Moves is perfect for players of all ages. Play against a friend in two-player mode or challenge the AI with multiple difficulty levels. Whether you have a few minutes to spare or want a longer strategy session, this game is your perfect companion.

How to Play

The board has 25 intersections. Tigers start on the four corners; goats enter one by one.

  1. Phase 1 – Placement: Place your goats one at a time on any empty intersection. After each placement, the tigers may move or capture. Place all 20 goats to enter Phase 2.
  2. Phase 2 – Movement: Goats move to an adjacent empty spot along the lines. Tigers move to an adjacent empty spot or capture a goat by jumping over it to the empty square beyond (like in Checkers).
  3. Goats win by blocking all four tigers so they have no legal move.
  4. Tigers win by capturing five goats.
